Amethyst offers variety of IP cores ('soft cores') targeted to chip vendors and system vendors. Most of the IP cores are targeted to the communication market.

The cores are applicable for integration in various ASIC and FPGA (Stratix and Virtex) platforms.

 

RS FAMILY: RS CODEC cores targeted for various communication standards.

 

VITERBI-DEC: Viterbi Decoder targeted for various communication standards.

 

FFT/IFFT FAMILY: FFT/ IFFT targeted for high speed communication standards. The cores implement a mixed Radix (Radix-4 and Radix-2) architecture.

 

OFDM modem Phy: Base-band OFDM modem physical layer (Tx and RX chain).
